Retailer training programmes serve as a crucial component of our engagement strategy with retailers, who play a key role in the sale of our products. The primary objective is to establish regular communication channels with our retailers to appraise them about our key products while incorporating their valuable inputs to improve our business operations. We also ensure to promptly address any concerns they may have during these sessions.
Overview
Customer centricity lies at the heart of our operations. Through our range of agro solutions, we aim to empower farmers by enhancing their productivity and net income. We also engage with our intermediate customers i.e. our channel partners, dealers, and wholesalers who play a key role in driving the success of our business.
Farmer Engagement Activities
Farmer Training Programmes
We conduct Farmer Training Programmes (FTPs) to engage with our end-customers i.e. farmers and educate them about balanced nutrition, seeds, crop protection, and other agricultural inputs. To ensure that farmers receive accurate technical information, we involve district agriculture officials as well as scientists from nearby Krishi Vigyan Kendras (KVKs) in these meetings.
Chaupals
Chaupals are informal gatherings of farmers where our farm advisors provide seasonal agriculture updates, information about our products and services, and offer solutions to any concerns that farmers may have regarding crop cultivation.
Virtual Technical Training
To raise awareness about our products and provide training on best practices for crop cultivation, we conduct regular virtual technical trainings in regional languages. These sessions focus on the ongoing crop season to highlight scientific agronomy practices relevant to our key products.
Toll-free Helpline
We enable farmers to easily connect with us through a dedicated customer care toll-free number and email address. This allows farmers to provide feedback on our products and raise any issues they may be facing. The feedback received is reviewed by our team and promptly addressed.
Social Media Communication
We ensure continuous engagement with farmers through various digital platforms and utilise social media for sharing updates on our products and services in the form of both videos and static posts. We also share e-greetings on social and national events with 165 Jabardost Kisan WhatsApp groups that reach over 11,000 farmers.
Crop Demonstrations
Crop demonstrations, crop seminars, and crop shows are powerful tools that enable us to show farmers the benefits of our products directly in the field, following the principle of ‘seeing is believing’.
Integrated Farmer Contact Programmes
Integrated Farmer Contact Programmes (IFCPs) are an effective way to educate farmers about our brands and products, and help them solve farming-related issues. These campaigns make use of pre-fabricated promotion vans equipped with audio-visual systems, which are then deployed in target markets.
Soil Testing
Soil testing is a crucial step that enables us to understand the nutrient composition of the soil, identify deficiencies, and recommend suitable fertilisers. This plays a vital role in maintaining optimal soil health, leading to enhanced crop productivity and yield. It is also an opportunity for us to educate farmers about the balanced use of fertilisers.
PMKSK Support
Envisioned by the Department of Chemicals & Fertilisers, Government of India, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samriddhi Kendras (PMKSKs) are one-stop centres catering to all the agricultural input needs of farmers, providing them with fertilisers, seeds, and various testing facilities. To date, we have facilitated the creation of over 500 PMKSKs in various territories within our operating zones. Our target is to upgrade more than 13,000 retail outlets into PMKSKs across our territories.
